By using Social Scene, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they explain what the site is, what we expect from submitters, and what we are and are not responsible for.
What Social Scene is
Social Scene is a curated listing of Detroit events. Browsing is free, and submitting an event is free. We pick the good stuff — we do not claim to have every event going on in Detroit.
Event listings
Listings are provided by organizers and community submitters, and we review submissions before publishing. We do not guarantee that a listing is complete, accurate, or up to date, and we are not responsible for changes, cancellations, or anything that happens at an event. Ticket links go to the event's own seller, and any purchase is between you and that seller.
Submitting an event
By submitting an event, you confirm that the event is real, that the details are accurate, and that you have the right to share the flyer and information you upload. Your contact email stays private and is used only for questions about your submission. We may edit, delay, or remove any listing at our discretion.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in private and for what happens under your account. Do not share your account with others. We may suspend accounts that abuse the site.
Content and takedowns
Flyers, images, and event content belong to their respective owners. If you believe a listing infringes your rights, report it to submissions@socialscene.us with the event name and a link to the listing, and we will review it and remove it if warranted.
What you may not do
Do not submit false events or spam, do not upload content you do not have the right to share, and do not attempt to interfere with or break the site.
Liability
The site is provided as is. We are not liable for event outcomes, ticket purchases, or the content and policies of third-party websites linked from listings.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, the updated date below will change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
